“Great breakfast …”
It’s a nice place. Room is clean & tidy, great breakfast. We, are staying there for a couple of days.

Lorraine goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. She is lovely and a friendly welcome face. The room, bathroom and dining room are immaculately clean, not a spec of dust. This along with the perfect location made our stay. 10/10.

Great 2 night stay. Ideally located near to great restaurants and nightlife. Breakfast was excellent, both me and my partner were made to feel very welcome. Room was very well presented and clean. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you

Great host, great house, great location, great breakfasts, free car parking. What’s not to like?
Lorraine was a wonderful host who greeted us by name, giving us a warm and friendly start to our visit. She was always checking on our comfort and even rang us while we were out to remind us that we had items in the mini fridge in our room but it was not switched on. The guest house was spotlessly clean, our room was 1st class and the breakfasts (cooked to our likes) was fantastic. We even got our car parked just outside for the whole time and free of charge! A great location for all the attractions offered by South Shields. All together it was a great mini holiday for us. I would recommend South Shore Guest House without a moment’s hesitation.
